Witty Title

First and foremost, doesn't this just melt you butter?!

     Julian is officially 2 months old! And is growing so fast, I can't believe it! I would say he is growing out of his clothes before he can where them all but we go through 2-3 outfits a day so he wears them all plenty of times. Breaking News: Julian broke his sleeping record last night! He slept 7 straight hours without waking up; not even for his pacifier! (As far as I know). He has been "talking" so much this week and has also discovered his hands. It is the cutest. He stares at them, he fold them together, he opens and closes them, and waves them around frantically trying to control them. Alright, well that doesn't sound quite as cute typed out but I am allowed to be biased...I am his mama after all :) Oh and dad came up with a new toy this week! Balloons! We tied them loosely around his wrist and he went to town. It definitely is not the safest baby toy but he loved them! I just decided, every blog entry I will have a vocabulary word for you all to learn so you can learn Spanish with me! This blog entry's vocab word: globos. Noun, meaning balloons. Julian le gustan los globos! And to review from my previous entries; sonrisa = smile, besitos = kisses, peluchin = snuggly teddy bear. Muy bien mis amigos!

Globos!

    So the globos that Julian loves so much came from my birthday, which was fabulous! Mario got me a flash for our camera, my favorite candies (If you are a chocolate/peanut lover you must try Reese's Nutrageous! Unfortunately, it is only sold at random liquor stores and gas stations. If anyone finds it in a mainstream store please let me know.), and a pair of sapphire earrings! He certainly spoiled me! Mario helped with Julian's present...Mario dipped his little feet in paint and had him dance around a poster board. It was so cute! That night we went out to dinner and when we got back Mario and his parents threw me a surprise party via Skype. They had balloons and party hats on and and lit a little cupcake in Utah while we did the same in Iowa. It was such a cute idea!
     Another recent highlight in our life, this week Julian went to his first parade! We attended the local high school's Homecoming Parade to support Mario's co-worker's daughter. Julian didn't seem to mind all the noise once he knew where it was coming from. We are blessed with such an easy-going baby. It's awesome. And tonight, we went to a cemetery to listen to music...it was Halloween themed and family oriented so it wasn't as creepy as it sounds; although the kids were playing hide-n-go-seek between the headstones. Anyway there were also treats, corn stalks, a bon fire, music, and a hay ride of course! The musicians played the guitar and the hammered dulcimer; it was so beautiful! I suggest "you tubing" hammered dulcimer if you have never heard of it. Although I know some of you have :)
     So that is life! I included pictures of our apartment finally...even though we have been living here for 5 months now...I figured some of you may want to see our place with our real furniture! Enjoy! Love you guys! Happy Autumn :)
