Marchy March March

Hello Hello! Spring is kind of here! The highlight of our month was not the warm weather but Mario's parents coming to visit :) They got to stay for whole week! Since the men still had to work, MariCarmen and I spent most of our days thrifting, a favorite pastime of the Dealba girls :) You just never know what you are going to find! At night, we mostly just relaxed, played games, and watched movies, a favorite pastime of the Dealba boys ;) It was so much fun just getting to spend time with family! MariCarmen and Fernando also watched Julian for a night while we got to have some much needed alone time! I totally get why people say your lives will completely change once you have kids because I had a rush of adrenaline not carrying a purse into a restaurant. Oh the little things :)
Que mas? Oh how could I forget! We also went on a mini road trip to Nauvoo! I just love road trips. I get to make lists and check them twice. By the time I am through, we are prepared for everything!! Oh there is not soap in that gas station restroom you say? No worries- we brought hand sanitizer, wet wipes, soap and paper towels...take your pick :) You know you guys miss my organizational OCD, don't deny it. Anywho, we stayed in these sweet condos for super cheap due to winter rates. It was a wild goose chase trying to find the place because Nauvoo is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but we managed to find it eventually. And then we got to go to the temple :) Mario and I had a really special experience. There is nothing like the peacefulness of the temple and the blessings it brings! At the end of the night, we went to a musical about the history of Nauvoo, starring the couple-missionaries (most of whom were 60+ years old). It was hilarious! They did such an awesome job. The next day we headed on home...it of course snowed over night so our journey back was a little slower...good ole' winter just doesn't want to quit.
We loved having them over and were of course very sad to say goodbye but unfortunately there is no pause button on life so back to Utah they went. Since then, Mario and I have just been busy with the usual stuff. We found a sweet place to find second hand furniture so we have been prematurely buying stuff for the new house. We totally look like hoarders. Our apartment is going to burst with stuff. It's still fun though! Look out Home Depot, I am going to DIY the crap out of our house this summer and you will be my new BFF! Oh and we are buying a different house now because the sellers of the one we were initially buying decided to back out last minute. That was fun...anyway we found a different house in a better part of town...it all works out in the end, right?
Alright, alright now for what you have all been waiting for...Julian :) He is so big! This month he got four teeth on the top!! He totally has a gap and kind of looks like a bumpkin...a cute baby bumpkin. Julian went on the swing for the first time! He LOVES it! Possibly more than tub tub time, which is hard to beat. Julian also started clapping...so cute! He is still working on crawling, not quite there yet but he's working on it. Lastly, he has really grown akin to toys and books. He can entertain himself for almost an hour now!! My little boy is growing up! We love him so much!! He is the joy of our lives. Enjoy the pictures and give my love to anyone who doesn't usually read this :) Miss you guys!
